Language Laboratory 

A Language Laboratory was established in the Department of English in 2000-2001 academic year with the financial aid of Kinder Mission Werk and the Carol Singers of St. Sebastian Loberich, Germany to promote the apt pronunciation and proficiency in communicative skill among the students. Orientation courses are also conducted for teachers and students of neighbouring schools. It is arranged with the collaboration of ETNL software associates. For more than two decades, it has been doing meritorious service to our students with regard to the practice of communication skills. We have been conducting classes in phonetics, linguistics, stress, intonation, rhyme, rhythm, accent etc with the aid of our language laboratory.
We also conduct conversation classes ie. RELP classes (Rural English Literacy Programme) in our language laboratory. We have been able to present movies and English dramas for our students. We have been screening movies and dramas like Glass Menagerie, Life of Pi, Shakespearean plays and the like.
