POST GRADUATE DEPARTMENT OF ZOOLOGY (Self Financing)

The post graduate department of Zoology was started in 2012 with the introduction of self dinancing programe in MSc Zoology. The Department of Zoology aims at imparting the best possible education to the students in the field of Zoology and Life sciences. The department has 4 permanent faculties. Prof.C.Joseph Edward, former head of the department of Zoology (Aided) of our College is the present coordinator of the department.

MSc Zoology programme aims to inculcate the spirit of natural resource conservation and motivate the students for self-employment in applied branches of Zoology. After the successful completion of the Programme, the students have ample chances for getting attractive jobs elsewhere, as Teachers, Lecturers, Technical advisors, Project assistants, Research assistants etc. The Department gives the guidance for Self Employment and Entrepreneurship Program considering the interest of the respective student.
