Department of Commerce Self Financing

The self-financing department of commerce was established in 2006 with the inception of the UG programme B.Com Computer Applications (Model -II). This programme intends to provide a foundation  for students who plan to pursue their career in business, commerce and accounting. The department of B.Com computer application is staffed with well qualified and experienced faculty members. At present there are five faculty members in the department headed by Sri Jerome P V, former Vice Principal of St. Aloysius College Edathua, as the coordinator. The sanctioned strength of the program is 40. The increasing number of applicants year by year for the BCom Computer Applications programme is testimony to the efficiency of the department.
