KSWDC-ALOYSIAN WOMEN’S CELL

Aloysian Women’s Cell funded by the Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation Ltd was established to emphasize the importance of gender equity, to create awareness about the rights of women and improve the skills of the women community. It provides an opportunity to explore the talents of women students and empower them through education.

Women’s cell is open to the women community of our college. It organises seminars, awareness programmes and talks focusing mainly on the needs of women in the present scenario. Aloysian women’s cell celebrates international women’s day every year and conducts various competitions and socially relevant events like hair donation campaigns in which the women students actively participate. Lectures and practical sessions are arranged on skill development programmes like embroidery, cooking, beauty tips and jewellery making at times.

Women’s cell helps to broaden the horizon of women students in administration, and both cultural and social activities of the college.
