DEPARTMENT OF MALAYALAM 

The Department of Malayalam was established in 1965. The department does not offer any programmes and it offers common course for all UG programmes in the College. Prof. Mathew Chacko Kattampallil was the first head of the department. Dr. Jomole Jose, the present head of the department is an alumna of the college. The department organizes various programmes during reading week, Mathrubhasha/Bharanabhasha Varam, World mother tongue day and conducts Seminars  and Inter-collegiate competitions.
