Department of EEM (Self Financing)

The self-financing department of Electronic Equipment and Maintenance in St Aloysius College, Edathua was started in 2001 with the introduction of B.Sc Physics Model III Electronic Equipment Maintenance as a U.G.C sponsored vocational course.  This B.Sc. Programme is a two core courses programme under choice-based course credit and semester system. The annual inter-collegiate project competition and exhibition called NIRMAAN is the flagship programme of the Department. The programme attracts significant participation from engineering and arts and science colleges across Kerala. The department also conducts Mahesh Kumar memorial inter-collegiate quiz competition annually.

The department offers in-house certificate course and also certificate courses with external support in topics relevant to the students. Open house programs, tutorials and remedial classes are organized on a regular basis. Mrs Rani Mohan is the present coordinator of the department. As strong alumni ready to support the department in time of need is the biggest pride of the department.
