Mahatma Gandhi University elevated the PG department of Physics to the status of a research Centre through its order no. 4786/AVI/1/RC/74/2015/Academic dated 12/6/2018. Currently the department has 2 research guides. 3 research students are doing research leading to PhD in the department.

Department of Commerce

The department of commerce is an approved Research Centre of Mahatma Gandhi University since March 2006. Dr. Zacharias Thomas is an approved Research Guide of the Centre as per the U.O.No. AC.A.VI/2/3288/RC/2005 dated 02/08/2006. Mr. Sebastian K.S. is presently pursuing Ph.D. under his guidance. During the year 2019-’20, the following two Scholars were awarded Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Zacharias Thomas.
